![]() I don’t think he would ever want to work with his other for various reasons, but he would no doubt hold them in high esteem. Nevermind in canon the authors are reporting on every event, I think he’d definitely be the type to downplay things just enough so as not to burden his friend/romantic partner.īut there would definetely be mutual trust, too. I think on the other side, he’d try and keep most of his worst exploits a secret. That being said, if shit really goes sideways all bets are off and he’s worried and possibly actively working to intervene. I think he’d always have the base level of concern anyone has who has loved ones in some sort of dangerous field (i.e., firefighting, military) have he trusts that this person is capable and is part of a system. ![]() He has the upmost confidence in his friends and I’m sure the same for his romantic partners. I think he’d be okay with it most of the time. imaginependergast ask aloysius pendergast admin thoughts I just gotta get through the next month-ish and then I can relax for a bit.ĭoctoral life represent. And I love that! I love the mystery and that I don’t feel that I really know what the hell is happening.Īnd that’s assuming Pendergast doesn’t die (which I don’t think will happen, but it’s not impossible).Īnd thank you! I really appreciate all the stuff for me to respond to both as a means of distraction from all the work I have to do and because someone is interesting in my thoughts lol. That being said, I could see this arc as being end game if the end is Pendergast’s decision regarding Constance: do they get together and/or stay in the past or return to the present? In that case this entire series B-plot was his emotional maturation because, frankly, Pendergast has some fuck boy-like tendencies and I personally felt like he was unintentionally stringing Constance along, especially we’re not privy to their experiences between books. We’re due two more books to round out the Leng trilogy but I really hope we still get stand alones. So whatcha think of the newsletter and the idea of Pendergast writing a book? imaginependergast admin thoughts not an imagine aloysius pendergast nora kelly corrie swansonįriggin’ better not. I’ll probably end up getting it and doing a hot take. It sounds interesting, in 2008 a bunch of mountain climbers so missing, only some corpses are found- until now!- and the duo need to figure out what and why. Stay classy, Alolysius.Īnd apparently there’s a new Nora Kelly/ Corrie Swanson novel called Dead Mountain coming at the end of August. I don’t know if a Pendergast novel, ‘written by the man’, would have the same appeal.Īlso I love how Pendergast’s signature at the bottom is comic sans. I love this goofy framing where they fanboy over Pendergast and write about his endeavors. Personally, I think I’d prefer if the authors stick to writing. There’s a link to a Facebook page where you can contribute your two cents. Apparently he’s on a new mission and is querying to us, the fans, if the authors should write it of it he should. I loved Fever Dream as part of the Helen Trilogy, and I loved Book of the Dead as part of the Diogenes Trilogy but the rest I remember not being super stoked on.īut let’s get to it- Pendergast wants to write his own novel. I’ve honestly never been super big on the trilogies. I don’t know if it was disclosed elsewhere sooner but we have a title for the next book: Angel of Vengeance.Īlso apparently the next book is the end to the trilogy? I thought Cabinet of Curiosities was more of a prequel and we’d get three new books but I guess we get two and that’s the lot. We got a new newsletter and it’s a very special letter from Pendergast. ![]() You heard it probably not here first, folks.
